I chose this photo as my favorite because of the dramatic shadows created by the exposure. It looks like it was taken at night with the reflection of the moon in the puddle, but it was actually taken on our field trip around 9:30 am. I do not remember exactly what I was doing to get this photo (without looking at the camera data), I was just messing around with a bunch of different combinations of aperture sizes and shutter speeds. I love the different shades the reflection of the sun and clouds created in the water and the texture of the brick and asphalt peeking through in various places. Something to do differently would be to turn the camera just a bit to get more of the asphalt and less of the grass in the frame toward the bottom, or turn the orientation to landscape instead of portrait.
