Barbra Kates "HIgh Noon"

The colors and geometric shapes caught my eye. The time of day allowed the colors to pop, created crisp shadows and enhanced the architectural elements. The composition fills as much of the frame as possible without losing too much of the story. The almost cloudless sky creates a simple negative space that supports the positive shapes and colors. I would have liked to have had time to return and capture the scene at different times of the day and various weather.
